November 16, 2007. Connor finished out the season in Mini-Max with 2nd place in the Fall series and the NTK season.  He is now busy preparing for his move up to Junior Rotax next season. 

May 19, 2007.   Dad hasn't done a good job of updating Connor's website the past few months so this will be kind of long to catch up on the all the news. 

In the middle of February Connor broke his ankle in a skateboarding incident!  This put a temporary hold on his racing activities causing him to miss the last two Polar Bear races and the first NTK Spring race and RMAX challenge series race.   Connor resumed racing in Spring 2 with a cast on his leg and foot.  The picture on the left shows Connor on the grid ready to hit the track - maybe that heavy boot will hold the accelerator down harder?

Overall Connor's results got him the NTK Spring Series Points Championship!   Although some of the racers chose to concentrate more on the RMAX challenge series, nevertheless a good outcome for Connor in his first season racing Rotax Mini-Max.   

In the two RMAX challenge series races Connor participated in he finished 5th both times.  

Connor now has the cast off his leg and only needs to wear a small ankle brace while he is racing.   Next up for Connor is Summer 1 at NTK and RMAX challenge race 4 on June 2.  

January 28, 2007.  Connor received his 2006 NTK Track Championship trophy, check and jacket at the annual awards banquet held at the Speedway Club at Texas Motor Speedway.  Connor was also fortunate to win some very nice door prizes.  The banquet was a fantastic and memorable event put on by all the great officers and members of North Texas Karters.  

January 20, 2007.  Connor collected his KART Regional championship awards at the annual banquet.   He got a very nice trophy, jacket and hat for his 2006 Championship season.   Here's a picture of Connor hiding behind the huge trophy!

January 21, 2007.  Connor raced the Polar Bear 2 event at NTK.  Once again Connor finished fourth in a strong field.   Connor qualified 3rd, but was involved in an incident at the start of the prefinal, spinning in turn 1 and dropping to the back of the pack.  He ended up finishing 8th in the PreFinal.  In the final Connor had a good race moving up through the pack to his eventual fourth place finish.

January 7, 2007.  Connor began his 2007 racing season in a new class, Rotax Mini-Max, with the North Texas Karters Polar Bear 1 event.   With a strong class of 11 entries  Connor finished fourth.  Connor began the day by qualifying 3rd.  In the Prefinal he quickly moved up to 2nd on the start.  Unfortunately Connor's his race came to an abrupt end when after making contact with a curb, he damaged his drive sprocket and was unable to continue - finishing last in the prefinal.   Starting in the back of the pack for the final, Connor  moved up a few positions on the start and continued to make some early passes up to fourth position.  By then the leaders were out of touch and Connor maintained fourth for a solid finish in his first Mini-max event.
